WHAT DOES IT COVER?

Reimbursement for Stolen or Damaged Mobile Phones


  1. Replacement or repair costs if your eligible mobile phone is stolen or damaged

  2. Pays up to $500 minus a $50 deductible

  3. 2 claims per consecutive 12 month period

  4. Coverage applies to all mobile phones purchased by you

  5. No pre-registration required

  6. Includes cracked screens, liquid spills, burglary and robbery

  7. Coverage begins the first day of the month following the date you first become entitled to the service

  8. Damage or theft that occurs prior to the coverage effective date is not covered


HOW DO I FILE A CLAIM?*

  1. Go to ssfcu.org/protect to file a mobile claim within 60 days of the loss or damage of the covered device.

  2. Be sure to have your Power Protected ID Monitoring Member ID available. You will need this to verify your eligibility. If you need assistance locating the Member ID, please contact SSFCU at 888-415-7878.

  3. The primary account holder enters all the required information on the electronic claim form and attaches all required documentation prior to submitting the claim.

  4. If any additional information is needed to process your claim, a claims representative will contact you directly.
